Welcome to Professional Shifting Packers and Movers. By engaging our services, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to protect the interests of both our customers and our company. We request you to carefully read this document before booking our services. By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have fully understood, accepted, and agreed to these terms.

1. Service Booking & Confirmation

All bookings must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled moving date. Services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to decline or reschedule a booking if circumstances demand. Customers are required to provide accurate details of their shifting requirements, including the origin, destination, inventory of goods, and any special handling instructions.

Professional Shifting Packers and Movers will not be held responsible for delays, damages, or additional charges that arise due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer during the booking process.

2. Payment Policy

To confirm a booking, a minimum advance of 50% of the estimated shifting charges must be paid. The remaining balance is to be cleared upon delivery of goods at the destination. Payments can be made via cash, UPI, credit/debit card, or bank transfer. No service will be considered complete until the full payment is settled.

Delays in final payment may result in withholding of goods until dues are cleared. In case of cheque or online transfer, services will only be considered valid after the payment has been credited into our account.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled move are eligible for a partial refund after deduction of administrative charges. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time are strictly non-refundable. Rescheduling requests are entertained subject to availability and must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Additional charges may apply for rescheduling beyond the originally agreed date.

4. Packing & Handling of Goods

Our trained professionals use industry-standard packing materials to ensure the safe handling of goods. Customers are responsible for informing our team about fragile or high-value items requiring special attention. Items packed personally by the customer are transported at the customer’s own risk, and the company does not accept liability for damages caused due to improper packing by the customer.

We reserve the right to refuse the transportation of items that are inadequately packed, hazardous, prohibited, or deemed unsafe for carriage.

5. Prohibited & Restricted Items

The following items will not be accepted for transportation under any circumstances:

If any prohibited item is found during the shifting process, Professional Shifting Packers and Movers reserves the right to decline service without refund, and the customer shall be held responsible for any legal consequences arising therefrom.

6. Liability & Responsibility

We take utmost care to ensure that your goods are safely packed, loaded, transported, and delivered. However, we cannot be held liable for damages or losses caused by unforeseen events such as natural disasters, accidents, fire, theft, strikes, or delays due to traffic, weather, or government regulations.

In case of damage to goods during handling or transportation, our liability shall be limited to the extent provided under the agreed insurance policy (if opted by the customer). Customers are encouraged to opt for insurance coverage to safeguard their goods.

7. Insurance Policy

Insurance is optional but strongly recommended. We assist customers in arranging insurance through third-party providers to cover potential damages or losses. It is the customer’s responsibility to declare the correct value of goods for insurance purposes. Any misrepresentation of the value of goods may lead to rejection of insurance claims.

Professional Shifting Packers and Movers shall not be liable for any disputes or claims arising between the customer and the insurance company. Our role is limited to assisting in the facilitation of insurance.

8. Delivery & Timelines

We strive to deliver goods within the agreed timeline; however, unforeseen delays may occur due to traffic, weather conditions, strikes, or vehicle breakdowns. Customers will be kept informed of any such delays. Under no circumstances shall Professional Shifting Packers and Movers be liable for consequential losses or penalties arising from delays in delivery.

Delivery is considered complete when the goods are unloaded at the designated destination and acknowledged by the customer or their authorized representative.

9. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure that all items are ready for packing and shifting at the scheduled time. All necessary permissions (e.g., society gate passes, parking permissions, elevator bookings) must be arranged in advance by the customer. Failure to arrange necessary permits may result in delays or additional charges.

The customer must remain present during packing, loading, and delivery to verify the condition of goods and to sign inventory lists. Professional Shifting Packers and Movers will not be responsible for any claims arising from the absence of the customer or their representative during the process.

10. Storage Services

If storage of goods is required, additional charges will apply. Storage services are offered at designated warehouses under standard conditions. While we take necessary precautions, we are not responsible for damages caused by humidity, pests, or natural wear and tear during extended storage periods unless insurance has been opted for.

11. Loss or Damage Claims

Any claim for loss or damage must be reported in writing at the time of delivery or within 24 hours of receipt of goods. Claims reported after this period will not be entertained. Customers must provide supporting documents, photographs, and proof of value to initiate a claim. Our liability is strictly limited to the terms of the insurance policy (if opted).

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurgaon, Haryana.

14. Amendment of Terms

Professional Shifting Packers and Movers reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Customers are advised to review the Terms and Conditions regularly. Continued use of our services after modifications implies acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By booking our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. You further agree that these terms form a binding agreement between you (the customer) and Professional Shifting Packers and Movers.
